Chaweng Beach Hotel Koh Samui Thailand Booking Review motel hotel in beach great stay. basic but clean rooms and VERY friendly staff. Couldn t commend them more. Excellent location hotel in beach and 2 minute from beach and 3 mins from all shops and resturants. Staff excellent and very helpful. Shame there is no pool but the beach is across the road.

The hotel itself was good, great location as the beach is right across the road, but you don t have to listen to the noise from the bars at night. Lots of shops and restaurants around too. The room was fine, did everything we needed and decent A/C. The service from the people at reception wasn t very good though. As they were showing me and my friends to our room, the woman just sort of half heartedly attempted to ask my friend if she needed help lugging her huge bag up the stairs (no elevator). Then just stood and watched the whole time. A couple of other times they were quite unhelpful, so don t expect anything special if you stay there!
