The Thip Residence is a new boutique hotel located in the most scenic part of Krabi near Ao Nammao pier. The hotel is a departure point of long-tail boat to Railay as well as most activities that guest enjoy such as Sea Canoe or Kayak at Bor-thor or Thalane, fishing in the sea or in the lake, Thai cooking class, sailing for sunset, sea canoe or kayak. Just about 100 meters walk across the road to Ao Nammao pier.

We provide 22 rooms which are Deluxe and Superior Rooms; both have Sea-view or Pool view. Every room has a wall sized door opening to own private balcony. All room are air conditioned (self control) and fully furnished.

There are so many activities in Krabi area starting from the nearest among our hotel , well known for its world famous rock climbing in Rai Lay, Horse riding on Ao Nammao beach , value sight seeing at Krabi Coastal Fishery and Development Center and shell Fossil beach. Other popular tours including Phi Phi Island, Hong Island, Unseen Sand bank, elephant trekking, sea kayak, emerald pool, hot water spring and more are also could be arranged by our hotel.

Our guests like to live a bit separated from the typical tourists place in a real Thai ambience but at least close enough to enjoy all other options if wanted. Our location is 3 km to shell fossil , 5km from Ao Nang, and 15 km from Krabi town, which can be reached from the hotel by a local bus (song – taew) ,taxi, tuck tuck or motorbike. Krabi International airport is 30 km away which can be reached by a taxi or an airport bus. Our hotel is located directly on the seaside just separated by the road, some hundred meters from Ao Nammao pier, the local exit point for the well known long tail boats sailing to Rai Lay(15 minutes) and other access to the worlds most beautiful white sand beaches islands such as Hong Island, Chicken Island ,sand bank and many others close by.
